How to care for your jewelry

Your piece was made by hand and built to last. A little care goes a long way in keeping it looking the way it did when you first opened the box.

The quick version

Do

  • Dry it with a soft cloth if it gets wet
  • Store it in a cool, dry spot
  • Keep it separate from other jewelry
  • Clean it gently with mild soap and warm water
  • Let it air dry fully before putting it away

Don't

  • Wear it in the shower or pool
  • Spray perfume or lotion directly on it
  • Wear it while cleaning with chemicals
  • Store it in humid places (like a bathroom counter)
  • Toss it in a pile with other pieces

Care details

Cleaning

If your piece picks up dirt or oil from daily wear, wash it gently with mild soap and lukewarm water. Use a soft cloth or a soft-bristle brush. Rinse, pat dry, and let it air dry completely before wearing it again or putting it away.

Storage

Store each piece separately so they don't scratch each other. A small pouch or the box it came in works fine. Keep it somewhere cool and dry, away from direct sunlight. Humidity speeds up tarnishing, so a dresser drawer is better than a bathroom shelf.

Water and chemicals

Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, or doing dishes. Chlorine, saltwater, and soap buildup can dull the finish over time. Same goes for cleaning products, hairspray, and perfume. Put your jewelry on last when getting ready and take it off first when you get home.

Daily wear

Our pieces are designed for everyday wear. Just be mindful during activities where it could get bumped or snagged. If you work with your hands, take it off during those tasks and put it back on after.
